Earth Day Events in Redwood Heights

Earth Day is fast approaching and lots of neighborhood volunteers will be needed. Circle Saturday, April 19, on your calendar and make plans to participate in a morning of satisfying community service.

Last year in Redwood Heights over 100 volunteers came out to work at four projects: Peralta Creek Park at Rettig Ave and Wisconsin St., Avenue Terrace Park on Jordan Rd., McCrea Park on Carson St., and the Recreation Center and School. Planning is already under way for this year's projects. Don't be shy, become a "Friend of Redwood Heights" by signing up now for Earth Day!

To get more information or to sign up, use the RHNA Web site or Yahoo Group, or attend a Landscape Committee meeting or contact Randy Fenton at 510-531-4160 or rcfenton\@pacbell.net.

It's a great way to spend the evening. Everyone is welcome. Invite family, friends, and neighbors. Menu: hamburgers, cheeseburgers, hot dogs, veggie options, chips, potato salad, beverages, and more.
