Redwood Heights Neighborhood News

Green and Grateful

A big thank you goes out to all of the neighbors who volunteered for Earth Day events in Redwood Heights on Saturday, April 19.' More people get involved every year. This year was no exception! If you haven't had the chance to visit some of the green spaces in Redwood Heights, take a stroll over to McCrea Park on Carson St., Avenue Terrace Park on Jordan Rd., Peralta Creek on Rettig Ave., or the grounds at the Redwood Heights Recreation Center on Aliso. Thanks again to everybody who pitched in!

Annual Block Sale

Mark your calendar for Saturday, June 7. Neighbors in the vicinity of Avenue Terrace Park on Jordan Rd. will host the annual block sale. A springtime tradition for more than thirty years, the block sale is a great time to network with neighbors, make new friends, enjoy great food, and, of course, shop for bargains. Don't miss the Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association (RHNA) station at Jordan and Redwood Road. All proceeds from RHNA sales go to support community activities and projects that bring neighbors together.
