August 4 Ice Cream Social and Neighborhood Night Out Jordan Rd.
The Redwood Heights Neighborhood Association (RHNA) will host its third annual Ice Cream Social in conjunction with National Night Out on Tuesday, August 4. Redwood Height neighbors will gather at Avenue Terrace Park for ice cream treats and socializing. The Social begins at 6:30 pm. Last year's event included activities for kids, door prizes, and guest speakers. This year's social is sure to be a great fun, too. '

Summer Block Sale Success
Despite the economy, this year's annual summer block sale on Jordan Rd. was a great event, complete with beautiful weather. The RHNA would like to acknowledge long time organizer Anna Katz and also Jeremy and Sharon Constant, who have graciously hosted the RHNA booth in their driveway for several years. The proceeds from the RHNA booth sales provide financial support to help fund neighborhood events such as the annual picnic and ice cream social, to defray the printing and postage costs of residential mailers, and to offset the expenses of operating a neighborhood organization. Thus, a special thank-you goes out to all of the neighbors who generously donated items to and purchased items from the RHNA booth. The event would not be a success without you! Please start saving items for next year's sale.'
